United Fabrics International, Inc.
Shipping Policy
Applicable to trade customers purchasing through unitedfabric.com and through United Fabrics International, Inc. and its divisions.
Effective Date: 05/19/2026
United Fabrics International, Inc. (“UFI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) ships wholesale textile orders to trade customers in the United States and internationally. This Shipping Policy describes how orders are shipped, how freight is arranged, and what customers should expect at delivery. It is part of the UFI Master Purchase Agreement and the terms on your Order Confirmation and Invoice.
1. Shipment Terms
Shipping terms for each order are stated on the UFI Order Confirmation and Invoice (for example, prepaid, collect, or third-party billing). Unless otherwise agreed in writing, domestic orders ship from UFI’s Los Angeles warehouse or other UFI-designated facility. Production and offshore orders ship according to the terms specified on the order.
2. Carriers and Delivery
UFI ships via common carriers and freight services selected based on order size, destination, and service level. Transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. The carrier’s delivery receipt or freight bill is the record of tender.
Customers must inspect shipments promptly upon receipt. Visible loss or damage must be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt at the time of delivery. See our Return and Claims Policy for claim windows and procedures.
3. Freight Charges
Freight charges appear on the Order Confirmation and/or Invoice when applicable. For collect or third-party shipments, the customer is responsible for freight payment to the carrier. Estimated freight shown in the portal at checkout is an estimate only; final freight may differ based on actual weight, dimensions, and carrier rates.
4. International Shipments
International customers are responsible for import compliance, customs documentation, duties, taxes, and fees in the destination country. Risk of loss and carrier claim responsibility follow the shipping terms on the Order Confirmation. UFI does not process or remit duty refunds.
5. Partial Shipments and Split Orders
UFI may ship orders in one or more releases when inventory, production, or logistics require it. Each release is invoiced according to the goods shipped.
